The mission of Sigma Alpha Iota is to encourage, nurture, and support the art of music
Sigma Alpha Iota is an international organization for those who share a commitment to music. Theta Alpha Chapter is one of 223 Collegiate Chapters across the nation. We belong to Region 7, Sigma B Province. Our membership represents all areas of the school of music, and many majors outside of music!
Members of SAI are active in many areas of campus life. We support music in the school and community through various fraternity projects, and offer encouragement in the personal, professional, and musical lives of all our members. Theta Alpha regularly supports the projects of Sigma Alpha Iota Philanthropies, Inc., and our members often receive support from the national level in the form of scholarships, loans, and awards. Sigma Alpha Iota has long been recognized as a leader in the field of music and provides a lifetime of fraternity contact. The SAI National Alumnae Association gives our members the opportunity to stay more closely connected to SAI throughout their lifetime and to continue to support SAI programs and initiatives.
